Fermentables: 2-Row Pale, CaraPils, Flaked Rice, Rice Syrup
Hops/Spices: Centennial, Citra, Ginger, Matcha
Another play on our basic cream ale. The malt recipe is rather bare-bones, with the addition of rice in place of corn. The rice lightens the taste and perhaps adds a hint of fruit. A subtle grain sweetness with virtually no hops bitterness leaves room for the delicate green tea flavor and aroma. Ginger brightens the finish and completes the “Asian inspired” theme.
