IPA ABV 6.9% IBU 40
Fermentables: 2-row, Rye
Hops: Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe, Ekuanot
Rye Demise is a bit of a moving target. Originally, we brewed it as an IPA. Last year, we dubbed it a pale ale, with a lower ABV and a restrained bitterness and hoppiness. This latest batch is still in that same mid-5% ABV range, but we used more assertive IPA type hops, specifically Mosaic and Simcoe. You can expect flavors and aromas of stone fruit, berry, and pine, with a crisp, dry finish, thanks to the large portion of rye malt.
