Fermentables: Maris Otter, CaraMunich, Flaked Oats
Hops/Flavors: Goldings, Crystal, Peach Purée, Black Pepper
This one starts as a pale ale fermented with English yeast, providing a backdrop of subtle fruity esters that blend seamlessly with the peach purée. The fruit was added after fermentation to preserve the delicate, somewhat elusive peach flavor. We also added a small amount of black pepper to the fermenter to enhance the savory quality of the peach and to aid in a dry finish. Above all, it drinks like a beer, rather than a fruit soda, which is how we like our fruit beers to be.
