What makes a beer a “Porter” instead of a “Stout”? Well, the answer could probably fill a book. But for our money, it boils down to one thing: what does the brewer call it? We call this a Porter, and it has all of the tell-tale dark, roasty, coffee-like flavors and the deep reddish-brown hue that you expect for the style. Dark yet deceptively light, and highly drinkable.
